Representatives from the Telangana Joint Action Committee (JAC) and Telangana Employees Joint Staff Council met with the Chief Minister. Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and MPs Vem Narender Reddy, Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy were also present at the meeting. During the discussion, the Chief Minister clarified four key points to the employee unions.
He reiterated the government's commitment to employee welfare, promising timely disbursement of retirement benefits and a swift decision on the PRC report. He also suggested that recognized employee unions should meet every two months to submit reports on issues to the government, describing the administration as a friendly government responsible for resolving employee concerns.
Responding to the demands raised by the union representatives, the Chief Minister assured that health cards would be provided by June 1. He commended employees for their role in the success of government schemes. He highlighted that the first decision after the government came to power was to ensure salaries are paid by the first of every month. He also mentioned that employee unions were facilitated to conduct elections freely and that transfers were managed systematically without confusion. The Chief Minister recalled the completion of long-pending teacher transfers without controversy and stated that 67,760 jobs were filled in the last two years. Employee union leaders thanked the Chief Minister for clarifying their demands, noting that many issues have been resolved under his leadership. Subsequently, the employee union leaders announced the withdrawal of all forms of protests, including the one planned for May 5.
